Climate change disrupts the balance between water availability and consumption. AquaSteady is a made from seaweeds. It is biocompatible and biodegradable, protecting soil by increasing water retention preventing drought damage, and supporting soil restoration.
My role was to help share AquaSteady's value with expanding on their brand by building a website and creating identity elements.
Understanding the website's purpose from the perspective of a scientist
The audience of the grant proposal is different than the site’s users. I needed to learn more about the purpose of the product rather than how it’s made. I began brainstorming by card sorting all of the information I had that was important for AquaSteady’s users: farmers.
